簡單的動作如深呼吸原來亦可以令身體暫時得到放鬆。美國壓力研究所(The American Institute of Stress)指出,每當人感受到壓力、焦慮和緊張時,呼吸會變得急促,血液中的含氧量亦會下降。相反,若然面對緊張或壓力時深呼吸,可以增加血液中的含氧量,刺激副交感神經,減慢心率及緩解壓力7。
